Your opinion please

I've agreed to review listbums.com on Older-Space. If any of you can give me your opinions of the site as well, if I use your comments in my blog, I'll give you a link to your blog. In order for me to use your comment it has to be specific. "I like it" ... "It's stupid" or other short comments won't work.

If you look at the site and decide to review it on your blog as well, I will add that link to my post at the end of the review under "other reviews" or (if there are only a couple) I'll link to your review within mine.

Although I was asked to review the site, since the review is gratis, I don't have any qualms about honest input from othe more experienced bloggers so your constructive criticisms as well as compliments are welcome.

Without spending more than 5 seconds on it my first inclination was to figure out what the site was about. They should make the "What's list bums" more prominent, at least in the beginning stages of the site.

I'm not sure if it's my connection, but site loaded painfully slow for me. Same as Sara, I have troubles figuring out what the site is about. Getting Started part should definitely be closer to top which will help people to figure out easier what the site is about.

Also in the sidebar there are What's a listbums? and What's a list questions. They should be closer to top as well.

I'm not sure I like header of the site. Navigation links have weird position. They are not centered or placed closer to bottom or top, so they kind of don't look nice to me.

Other than this, I don't have any other suggestions :)

Thanks, but I won't be reviewing the site design. I think what he wants reviewed is the concept. However, I will certainly mention useability of the site and your comments have helped with that! :)

Hi Guys.

I took a closer look at the site today and found several elements that I would want to see in order to do a favorable review so I've written the owner and declined for now. Thanks for your input though. It made me take a better look at the site.
