I plan to go see it at some point, but I have not done it yet. I hope it is good. :)

I'm a cheap bastard, I'll wait until it hits DVD and just get it through netflix. I haven't gone to see a movie in about 2 years.

I generally do not go to the movies very often. So there is a good chance I will not see this movie. It takes a special occasion to get me to the theater. The last movie I saw in the theater was the last Star Wars. This might be one of those spacial occasions as I have seen the Simpson's on the small screen, might be time to see them on the large screen too.

I've been a netflix member for a couple years now too and they actually still mail me my movies overseas which is great. I still like to go to the theater once in a while.

I saw it this weekend. It was pretty good. It started off well but the story began to drag near the end. Some classic Simpson's stuff but as my wife said, "Season 9 good, not Season 5-6 good."

I got to see it opening night at a midnight showing. Certainly was worth my $10. I was fearing it would be trash (as the show as been the past few years, unfortunately), but was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully the show has only been subpar since they were putting so much effort into the movie and now the show can pick back up again. ;)

That was my fear as well since the new episodes just aren't as good as the classics. I haven't even watched the new ones for probably the last 2 seasons really. I'm glad to hear that many people feel it is worth it and that they didn't spiral further downhill with a cliche movie. Now I'll actually have to find time to go see it ... probably after the move though.

Hey I gotta say Simpson is good! I was laughing from the beginning throughout the whole show and there's a scene when *spoilers spoilers spoilers I ain't gonna spoil the movies you guys better watch it* and everyone turned and looked at me as if I was insane. The storyline was awesome and you will actually speak to yourself that, "hey I thought the movie was completely idiotic but look who's the idiot now! I didn't expect this will happen!"

Don't hesitate fellas, go watch it, I've watched twice because I still couldn't get over the *spoilers spoilers spoilers I ain't gonna spoil the movies you guys better watch it*

Hehe

I was thinking about going to see it, maybe today or tomorrow. It looks funny, but the show definitely hasn't been as good as it used to be the last year or so. I've heard lots of good reviews for the movie, so I think it will be worth it.

I do like the Simpson's but for some reason the last few years I have not watched it as much as I used to so I think I will probably end up waiting and getting this one on DVD. It does look like it would be a good movie though.

It IS a good movie, trust me! I watched it again for the second time and I still laughed like crazy! I was wondering how on earth could they figure out such brilliant ideas to stun the audience!

I haven't watch them in long time either but the movie is spectacular for anyone who has enjoyed the Simpsons before, made me laugh from start to finish.

I just went and watched the movie last night, and it was epic. I really liked it and I thought that the jokes were great.

I haven't watched episodes in a long time, but I might start watching them again.

I liked that you respected the fact that others would like to see it yet and not have it spoiled.
Thanks

I'm honestly not a huge fan of the Simpsons but a lot of people have told me to go to see the movie...And since I just got a free movie ticket for donating blood I might use it to go see the movie incase I don't like it, I didn't spend any extra money...

Well my husband was just telling me that he wants to see this movie which I had no idea. So I think we just might end up checking it out in the theatres. Boys go to grandma's for the night next Friday so maybe we'll see it then.
