Have you ever thought of putting ads in your feeds? When I see them, thyey don't bother me at all. They are at the very bottom of the feed so they don't get in the way.

Here is one I saw today for example:

I use the feedburner ads for feeds and the site. They are far more tasteful than a lot of advertising methods. Plus they usually have a decent CPM.

Sorry, but I find feeds with ads to be distasteful. If you're running a feed that has ads in it, you'll have just lost a subscriber - me.

Why would you say they are distasteful? I think they look better than ads on websites typically. The ones I have seen are always unobtrusive.

I'm not fan of ads in feeds as well. I mean, I tend to ignore them. Tbh, I don't think I ever clicked on one, while I did click on ad on a website.

You know, I guess I've never seen one... or at least paid any attention. I'll have to check my subscriptions!

I've considered putting ads in my feeds, but first I need enough subscribers to justify monetization.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather glance over an attractive image such as that Verizon one at the bottom of a feed than some adsense block shoved in the middle of the content on a site that disrupts the flow of reading.

I don't like ads in feeds. Plain and simple. RSS is a medium for syndicating CONTENT, not shoving ads down my gullet like I'm a farm-raised chicken being stuffed in preparation for a date with the slaughterhouse. If I want to see ads, I'll go to the Web site (and even then most of the time I don't want to see the ads, which is why I use the Adblocker.css file available for Opera users).

feedburner doesnt provide me with ads on feeds but once i tried with TLA but i had to terminate TLA before seeing my first feed ads. so i think i m really unlucky about the ads on the feeds.
