New Forum Launched

There is a whole story behind the new forum and the reorganization, but I will spare you. I have found it's time to introduce a new section to this place I call home.

What used to be called the Blog Development forum is now a category for all things tech! There are two forums within it:

1. Technical Talk (http://www.theblogexperiment.com/blog-forum/forumdisplay.php?f=8) - you already know this forum, but it has a shiny new name. The topics are still related to anything technical related to your blog (best plugins, help with your sidebar, etc).
2. The Developer's Sandbox (http://www.theblogexperiment.com/blog-forum/forumdisplay.php?f=22) - This is where we come to talk about the code, themes, plugins, widgets, and everything else that makes our blogs run. If you want a plugin recommendation, go to the technical talk section. If you want to create your own plugin, theme, or widget - this is the place to be :). The term developers here represents both designers and programmers as we are all attempting to develop something.

Any questions, comments, complaints, general bitches, donations, or anything you want to share..feel free :D

I know you said you'd spare us the story behind it (and I've read what was written in the other thread discussing it), but is there a specific reason you decided to have two separate boards? Is it just so that one is more technical while the other is more simplistic for the basic user?

I actually went the other way and decided NOT to have separate boards and keep them as one. What I meant by a new forum was a new top-level forum for people to post in :D

Well you'll probably have to wait. She won't give you what you want because under that friendly facade she is mean and cruel. For instance, I wanted "cultured mold" but did I get it? Hah!

I made an off-hand comment about expecting all of my user titles to come from Depeche Mode songs. Ms. Mean and Cruel did the actual title-choosing. So, yeah, she's not lying about the "when you least expect it" bit. ;)
