Clickable Logo

The TBE logo currently links back to the main site home page. What are your thoughts on changing that to the forum home page?

I click it all the time by accident before realising my mistake... :(

Well, I actually used to make it the forum page (where there was nothing else to the site :p). I could change it for the forum though. Doesn't matter to me. what does everyone else think?

I used to do that a lot also...I use the home page too, helps me keep an eye on latest forum topics as well as new blog entries.

I never click on a logo. I usually just use breadcrumb to navigate the forums or just use navigation on the top right when I want to go to blog or homepage.

I clicked the logo once or twice but since I've been here, my right hand already knows where to click the forum home. lol.

I'm okay about changing the link.

I think the logo link should resolve to what you feel the most important aspect of TBE is although it would be good if, when someone reads the blog and clicks the logo, they are taken to the forum. I see that as a better possibility than someone in the forum clicking the logo to go to the blog.

Well, everything here is built around the community here. But I know from a usability perspective, typically the logo defaults to the home page. I also do want to give the home page a little exposure as that in the sidebar for the home page and resources is where I put the bit about the featured member so I want that seen as well.

It seems most people aren't too bothered either way. What about trying it out for a week, and then asking which way was preferred after that? :)

Or you can just stick with things as they are. It's your call. :)

I never clicked on the logo before I answered last time (my bad!). The last time I did click it, it resolved to the blog page (you have been a busy girl Sara! :D ).

Now that I've seen the home page, I think you should leave it as it is. I think most people expect a logo click to resolve to the home page and you do have some great incentives on the home page to join TBE, which are more important than going immediately to the forum. So, if someone is reading the blog and clicks the logo, they see the benefits of joining as well as the most recent threads.
